Francois Aubry entered into the world of film as Director of Photography, Director & Editor. Pushing the limits of his creativity, he was trained at the NATIONAL FILM BOARD OF CANADA in the most advanced film techniques by award winning artists. After 10 bright years of uninterrupted work at the Board, and after signing 4 productions as director, writer and animator, and 16 more as animator and Visual Effects Supervisor, Aubry left the Board to take on broader horizons.

Moving quickly to the front of his field, winning international contracts and collaborating with such directors as Denys Arcand and Robert Lepage, (Jesus of Montreal, Le Polygraphe), Atom Egoyan, Patricia Rozema, Thom Fitzgerald, (The Hanging Garden), and more, François earned his reputation as an inventive and highly original filmmaker.

A masterful Cinematographer, François is responsible for the effects cinematography of over 50 world class motion pictures, the cinematography of two feature films, 25 documentaries, countless television shows, and several short films & music videos, most of which he has also directed.

He recently completed delivery of over 30 TV series episodes and original Documentary Films for Bell Media, in which he acted as Senior Editor and VFX Artist, Writer/Director, and Cinematographer.

Also a master of the digital realm, and fully bilingual in French & English, François teaches Visual Effects, Film, and Cinematography at the college and university level across Canada and beyond. He also teaches a customized curriculum which he has developed for training corporate clients such as KPMG, Coca-Cola and Aviva.

As Producer at Leading Pictures, Jennifer works collaboratively to understand the specific needs of each project and deliver the vision. She oversees each project with insight, perspective and discerning precision. Her leadership and adept ability to think from the end serves every project from vision through completion.

Jennifer’s passion for both entertainment and enlightenment spans across the mediums of Theatre, Film, Television & Video Production. As Director, her intuitive ability to bring the very best out of every aspect of production is her trademark. She has led many cross-disciplinary projects and creative teams successfully through project development to post-production.

From Director (Wait, Evermore), Field Director, (Oscar Watch, Entertainment Weekly, TIFF), (The Truth Behind Yourself, CLT), Story Producer, (Gadget Girls, MenTV), Writer (Supernatural Investigator, VisionTV), Casting, and Editor for broadcast TV, film, to corporate video; Jennifer's varied leadership roles across her career have deepened her understanding of all aspects of media creation.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting at Ryerson University, (Faculty of Communication & Design). She has a profound ability to connect authentically with others and a keen perception of the essential. Her high level of professionalism and communication are evident in all she does.

She lives in Toronto, where she continues to develop as creator, producer, artist, and educator. She is a Certified Yoga Teacher, ardent ballet student, and loves to curl up with a good book, usually non-fiction.
